Arthritis Research UK is the charity leading the fight against arthritis. We’re working to take the pain away for sufferers of all forms of arthritis and helping people to remain active. We’ll do this by funding high class research, providing information and campaigning. Everything we do is underpinned by research.

Founded in 1936 as the Arthritis Research Campaign, we raise funds to promote medical research into the cause, treatment and cure of arthritic conditions; to educate medical students, doctors and allied healthcare professionals about arthritis; and provide information to the general public.

We receive no government funding and rely entirely on public donations to fund our multi-million pound research programme.
