For every charity that enters or has one or more teams entering to support them in this year's festival, will produce a mini website for that charity within this website. On it we will give information about who you are, what you do and also a link to your website. From each charity's page, we will make available a downloadable entry pack into the festival.
Using our own in house photographer on the day, we will later show pictures of each team that supports your charity with (where suitable) pictures of their races. This Webservice is FREE to each supported charity.
All charities that were representeded in 2010 will become founder charities of the Salford Dragon Boat Festival and as such, their created Webpages will remain on our site for a minimum of three years rather than just the usual two.
Rankings:
As more charities are supported in the festival, more WebPages will be written, but who goes top of the list?
The ranking on the list will be determined by two key factors, with rule number one (below) taking priority over number two :
1. The number of teams a charity has registering in this year's event,
2. The date of team registration, with the earlier teams going first,
The main ranking factor will be the number of teams a charity has entering to support it, irrespective of when those teams registered. So the more teams you have entering to support you, the higher up the list you go!
