Located just outside Bebington on the Wirral, Claire House is a 10 bedded hospice for children and young people with life limiting, life threatening conditions

We care for children 0 - 18 years with life threatening or life limiting conditions and their families from Merseyside, Cheshire, North Wales and the Isle of Man. Children's hospices are dedicated to enhancing the quality of life, providing specialist respite, palliative, terminal and bereavement care.

We need to raise £2 million a year (£167,000 every month) to keep the doors of the hospice open and every penny counts.

The picture below was Race 11 of the 2011 Chester Dragon Boat Festival, as they came up to the finish line. Without doubt, this was the closest race of the day with just 3 hundredths of a second seperating both boats as they crosed the line.
In Boat 1 was Jason & The Arconauts and in Boat 2, The Aquaholics.
